SUSTAINABILITY DISCOVERY PROGRAMME ORGANISED SUCCESSFULLY AT XIM UNIVERSITY
Bhubaneswar (22/12/2023): School of Sustainability, XIM University (New Campus), Odisha organised its annual Sustainability Discovery Programme (SDP) from December 1, 2023 to December 18, 2023. SDP is a 3-credit course in the curriculum of the students pursuing MBA in Sustainability Management at XSoS.
Twenty-nine students of MBA Sustainability Management, Batch 2023-25, successfully completed their SDP this year.
Nine organizations from all over India namely Central Himalayan Institute for Nature & Applied Research (CHINAR), Uttarakhand, Desert Resource Centre & Samakhya Alternatives, Rajasthan, Govardhan Eco Village, Maharashtra, Centre for Youth and Social Development (CYSD), Odisha, Village Reconstruction Organization (VRO), Odisha, Asha Kiran Society, Odisha, Krusheka, Odisha, Centre for the Sustainable use of Natural and Social Resources (CSNR), Odisha were the partners for SDP.
This course enabled the students to explore and experience various sustainability programmes and activities implemented by their respective organisation to promote sustainability and sustainable development. The students shared the SDP experience through the SDP Gallery on December 21, 2023 at the XIM University (New Campus).
This event welcomed numerous attendees, including students and faculty members from various departments, eager to witness the students' insightful presentations.
The students showcased their experiences using diverse mediums, including captivating posters, engaging traditional dance performances, singing, and a creatively choreographed ramp walk .
