RETIRED JAJPUR CDMO STABBED MULTIPLE TIMES

Bhadrak(22/12/2023): A retired CDMO was allegedly stabbed multiple times by a misctent at his house in Bhadrak town in the wee hours of Friday. The retired physician identified as Raghunath Padhi was the Chief District Medical Officer (CDMO) of Jajpur. He was staying with his family in Bhadrak.

When he cried for help, the miscreant started attacking him. He was rushed to Bhadrak hospital in critical condition. It is suspected that the stabbing might be a result of a failed loot attempt from his house.

This is the third time somebody has tried to loot his house.

In October this year, gold jewellery worth over lakhs of rupees was stolen from his house.
