TWO MEMBERS OF ELEPHANT SQUAD DETAINED FOR HURLING FIREBALLS AT ELEPHANT HERD

Karanjia (27/07/2023): The persons, who had hurled fireballs at a herd of elephants in Mayurbhanj district, are the members of elephant squad. Two employees have been identified and detained in this connection. The video of a man throwing fireballs at an elephant to drive the herd away from the human settlements has gone viral on social media. Karanjia DFO ordered a probe into the matter.
