Chandabali minor girl gangrape & murder case comes under Red Flag category

Bhubaneswar(By Abhishek Mohanty): The rape and murder case of a minor girl from Chandabali in Bhadrak district has been brought under the Red Flag category.
This information was shared by the Director General of Police, Y.B. Khurania on Thursday.

The main accused in the case has been arrested from Jagatsinghpur.

The DGP said that the aim is to complete the investigation quickly.

On Tuesday, the minor girl had gone to school but did not return home. Later, the body of the 10-year-old minor was found within the jurisdiction of Chandabali police station.

CM Mohan Charan Majhi had announced a compensation of Rs 10 lakh for the family members of the deceased.
