Shree Jagannath Sanskruti Prachar Sansthan members visit Niali Madhaba Temple and Jayadeva Peeth for Jagannath Culture promotion
Bhubaneswar (By Abhishek Mohanty): As part of the program for the promotion and propagation of Shree Jagannath culture, members of Shree Jagannath Sanskruti Prachar Sansthan visited the Niali Madhaba Temple, Jayadeva Peeth, the Shiva shrine Maa Barahi Temple, and other sacred sites.
On behalf of the Sansthan, visits to temples associated with the Puri Jagannath Temple are organised once every one or two months. These visits are conducted to spread the divine pastimes and glory of LordJagannath to the world.
On the occasion of Prathamashtami, Paduan Bhara is taken from the Niali Madhava Temple to the Puri Temple. Niali Madhaba Temple is regarded as the maternal home of Shree Jagannath.
The culture of Mahaprabhu is the household culture of all Odias. Therefore, the Sansthan's effort is to create digital film stories covering the 365-day rituals and festivals of Shree Jagannath culture and broadcast them on YouTube channel.
Each film will present complete information-based on tithi and nakshatra-about which rituals, worship, and journeys of the Lord take place on which day, with the aim of promoting and spreading this knowledge worldwide.
On the occasion of the temple visit, the magazine “Bhakta O Bhagaban” (Devotee and God) was inaugurated on behalf of the Shree Jagannath Culture Promotion Organisation by eminent storyteller Prashant Kumar Mishra, Rabinarayan Mahapatra, Dr. Narayan Mohapatra, Suresh Mishra, Trilochan Nayak, Bansidhar Nayak, Ajay Das, and other present members.
This publication includes topics such as Adi Shankaracharya, the living encyclopedia of Jagannath Temple—Pandit Sadashiva Rath Sharma, and the sweet relationship between devotee and God, the love-based devotion to Shree Jagannath, Pankhia Rangadhara Mahaprabhu, and others—altogether about 21 stories were released.
AI-based video films on these 21 topics have also been produced and uploaded to the Shree Jagannath Culture Promotion Organisation’s YouTube channel.
All participants also visited the Shobhaneshwar Shiva Temple en route.
Lord Shree Jagannath is the Supreme Brahman, and everyone should follow His rituals and traditions in all activities across the world.
On the New English Year, January 1, at the Utkal Rangamanch, Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra Odissi Dance Research Centre in Bhubaneswar, Mahaprabhu Shree Jagannath, along with brother Balabhadra, sister Subhadra, and Chakraraj Sudarshan, will give darshan to the general public from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Due to heavy crowds in Puri during the New Year, many devotees are unable to visit there; therefore, for the first time, arrangements have been made for devotees to have darshan of Mahaprabhu in Bhubaneswar. Hence, the Sansthan requests everyone to attend this program from morning till night and receive the blessings of the Lord.
