Christmas celebrated with great zeal across Odisha

Bhubaneswar (25/12/2024): Christmas was celebrated by the people of Odisha with great zeal and enthusiasm on Wednesday.

People from all religion came together to celebrate the birthday of Jesus Christ.

Churches in different parts of the state including the Saint Vincent's Pro Cathedral Catholic Church at Satya Nagar and Union Church at Unit-4 in Bhubaneswar were decorated with colourful lights and lamps.

Holy mass, the highest community prayer in the memory of Lord Jesus who saved the humanity from sins, was performed in the church. Similarly, a large number of devotees also assembled at the Union Church located at Unit-4 area in the city.

People from different religions also attended prayers at the Catholic Church in Daringbadi of Kandhamal district and welcomed Jesus Christ on the earth.
