Puri Srimandir Ratna Bhandar repair work to remain suspended till January 2

Puri(25/12/2024): The repair work of the Ratna Bhandar of Puri Srimandir will remain suspended from December 25 to January 2 in view of a high turnout of devotees during the year-end. The decision taken by the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) aims aims at ensuring smooth crowd management and seamless rituals. The repair work will resume on January 3. The repair and renovation work of Ratna Bhandar was started by the Archeological Survey of India (ASI) on December 17.

On the first day, cleaning and staging works were conducted as per the Standard Operating Procedure issued by the Odisha government.
