Dedicated Ambulance Corridor planned from Khandagiri to AIIMS

Bhubaneswar(By Abhishek Mohanty): The Odisha government has announced plans to develop a dedicated ambulance corridor connecting Khandagiri to AIIMS, Bhubaneswar. The announcement was made by Odisha Works Minister Prithviraj Harichandan on Thursday.

As part of the project, three-lane service roads will be constructed on both sides from Khandagiri to Kalinganagar Square. 

In addition, a separate exclusive lane will be earmarked for ambulance movement to ensure faster and uninterrupted access to AIIMS.

After crossing Khandagiri Square, ambulances will be able to proceed directly to AIIMS without delays, significantly improving emergency medical response time in the city.
