Dhauli minor gang rape Case: Main accused arrested

Bhubaneswar(By Abhishek Mohanty): The main accused in the gang rape incident that took place on the banks of the Daya River at Dhauli, on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar, has been arrested, sources said. The accused has been identified as Satyaprakash Hati.

Earlier, police had arrested two other individuals in connection with the case.

In total, five persons were involved in the crime, while two accused are still absconding.

The incident occurred on December 10, in which a minor girl was subjected to gang rape. 

Owing to the gravity of the offence, the Dhauli gang rape case has been placed under the Red Flag category.
