Jamakunda sluice gate collapses
Jaleswar(17/09/2024): The Jamakunda sluice gate at Jaleswar in Balasore district collapsed following heavy rainfall. The sluice gate breakage caused severe waterlogging in the nearby areas.
Movement of vehicles on Baliapal-Jamakunda route has been affected. Meanwhile, the water level of Jalaka and Subarnarekha is rising due to torrential rain.
