Kranti celebrated International Women's Day in honour of sacrifice & recognition of women
Berhampur (09/03/2 A day of sacrifice, service and sacrifice of women.
Every year, March 8 is celebrated as International Women's Day in honor of the sacrifice and recognition of women.
To improve the lives of women all over the world, create awareness about them and put a smile on the faces of all women, Kranti, a leading voluntary organization, and Government ITI jointly celebrated International Women's Day with great pomp. The program was started by lighting a lamp in the presence of all the guests at the International Women's Day held at the Government ITI Girls Hostel, Berhampur.
Dr.Sandhya Rani Das, retired professor of the Department of Economics, Berhampur University, was the chief guest, while Dr.
Prabhati Kumari Mohapatra,H M,of Government High School Medical Campus, Monalisa Das, Scout and Guide Ranger,Siddha Bhairavi Higher Secondary School and Miss Punam Behera, Assistant Environmental Scientist, Berhampur State Pollution Control Board, were the guests of honor.
They made the students aware of the purpose and need of Women's Day and the importance of rights, equality, and empowerment for all women and girls.
They emphasized on making all women proud and expressed their views on the use and effectiveness of sincerity.
Dr.
Debananda Dash, Executive Director of Kranti organization, presided over the function and said in his speech that on today's International Women's Day, our main goal is to respect women and work hard to support women's power in the world.
ITI's ATO Suchitra Mishra and Sunanda Behera were felicitated with trophies and young journalist Itishree Patra was felicitated for her work efficiency. 400 ITI student contestants who participated in various competitions held earlier were felicitated with certificates.
artistes of Kranti Institute along with female members and guests presented attractive dance and music.
Nirmala Dash, Snigdha Rani Maharana and Minati Patnaik of Kranti organization and all the workers of Kranti including ITI members cooperated in this.
