LOW PRESSURE AREA LIKELY TO FORM OVER BAY OF BENGAL IN 48 HOURS

Bhubaneswar(03/09/2023): A low pressure area is likely to form over the Bay of Bengal in the next 48 hours. A cyclonic circulation is now active over the north Bay of Bengal. There is a possibility of enhanced rainfall activities in Odisha for the next two days. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely to occur over some districts of the state till September 7, informed the Bhubaneswar Regional Meteorological Centre of India Meteorological Department on Sunday.
