MAOISTS BLOW UP RAILWAY TRACK NEAR ROURKELA

Rourkela (22/12/2023): Unleashing terror, Maoists blow up railway track at Binuan village between Rourkela and Manoharpur station on Thursday night. Movement of trains on Howrah-Nagpur-Mumbai route was severely affected after the incident. The Maoists also left behind banners and posters at the blast site. More than 20 trains remained stranded at different stations for several hours. Various outlawed Maoist insurgent groups have called for a nationwide strike (Bharat Bandh) on December 22 to denounce their recent encounters with security personnel.
