NANDANKANAN ZOO WELCOMES AMAR, AKBAR & ANTHONY

Bhubaneswar(25/03/2023): The Nandankanan Zoological Park on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar welcomed three new guests. Rewa, the seven-year-old Asiatic lioness, gave birth to three male cubs today. Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Wildlife) Susanta Nanda welcomed the animals by calling them Amar, Akbar and Anthony. In a Twitter (X) post, Nanda said, "Rewa has abandoned her cubs after their birth.

So, they have been kept at the ICU of the zoo hospital and are being reared now.".
