Amit Shah to visit Odisha on March 7
Bhubaneswar(By Abhishek Mohanty): Union Home Minister Amit Shah will undertake a one-day visit to Odisha on March 7.
During the tour, he is slated to attend the Raising Day celebrations of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) at its campus in Mundali, located in Cuttack district.
Official sources said the Home Minister will participate in the ceremonial programme marking the CRPF’s Raising Day and interact with senior officials.
Shah is also expected to review the state’s ongoing anti-Naxal operations and evaluate the deployment and preparedness of CRPF personnel.
Discussions may further include the implementation and enforcement of the new law Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita in Odisha.
This will mark his first visit to the state in 2026.
