New Shree Jagannath Temple at Haridwar to be consecrated on April 6–8


Bhubaneswar (By Abhishek Mohanty): 
A newly constructed temple dedicated to Lord Jagannath at Bhumaniketan in Haridwar will be formally consecrated from April 6 to April 8, 2026. The ceremony is being organized by the Shree Jagannath Charitable Trust.
The decision was taken during a meeting held under the chairmanship of Managing Trustee Engineer Rabinarayan Mohapatra. 

Members including Kanak Lata Mohapatra, Dr. Narayan Mohapatra, Binod Kumar Das, Akshaya Sahu, Srinivas Rao and Basanti Tripathy, along with other prominent members, attended the meeting and unanimously approved the plan for the consecration ceremony and related activities.

Around 74 devotees have already booked their tickets individually to attend the event in Haridwar. 

The trust has appealed to devotees and well-wishers to extend their cooperation and support for the successful organization of the consecration ceremony and future activities of the temple.

The organizers expressed that the construction of the temple in Haridwar has been possible due to the divine will and blessings of Lord Jagannath, and prayed for the continued well-being and prosperity of all devotees and their families.
