No DJ during goddess Durga idol immersion procession
Bhubneswar (01/09/2024): Police Commissioner Sanjib Panda on Sunday announced a drunk-free and DJ-free Durga Puja.
The decision was made after a meeting with the Peace Committee in Cuttack. No drunkards will be allowed in the Puja pandals. No DJ music will be played during the immersion ceremony. Cultural programs will be allowed only till 12 am on October 14. Only 6 sound boxes will be allowed during the immersion procession. Strict action will be taken against those who demand money for Puja.
