Capacity Building Programme (CBP) Held  At DAV .

Capacity Building Program on Gender Inclusivity under the aegis of CBSE was successfully conducted at DAV Public School, Puri, on 1st February with the objective of sensitising teachers towards creating inclusive, safe, and equitable learning environments for all students.
The programme witnessed active participation of teachers and focused on understanding gender sensitivity, inclusivity in classrooms, and the role of educators in fostering respect and equality. The sessions were highly interactive and thought-provoking.
The resource persons for the programme were Mr. Laxmidhar Routray, TGT English, DAV CSPUR, and Ms. Ellora Patnaik, PGT Accountancy, BJEM, Bhubaneswar. Mr. Routray highlighted practical strategies for addressing gender stereotypes in classrooms and emphasized inclusive language and pedagogy. Ms. Patnaik elaborated on policy perspectives, real-life classroom challenges, and the importance of empathy and awareness in shaping students’ attitudes.
The programme enriched teachers with practical insights and reaffirmed the commitment  towards promoting gender equity in education.
