ODISHA DAUGHTER RANJEETA PRIYADARSHINI CONFERRED WITH CHAMPION OF WOMEN EMPLOYEES AWARD
New Delhi(17/12/2023): Odisha daughter Ranjeeta Priyadarshini has been conferred with Award "Champion of Women Employees" for her campaign on “Paid Period Leave” during event HR Conference.
This event was jointly organized by HR Bharat forum, Manav Rachna University and principal sponsor NTPC at Manav Rachna University, NCR. She was handed over this trophy by Samar Mohapatra, Founder of HR Bharat Forum where more than 50 companies’ employees, HR Leaders and Researchers from more than 50 companies were participant.
During the same day she got opportunity to meet and release a book titled “Paid Period Leave” with members of Shri Jagganath Mandir at Hauz Khas, New Delhi.
This book is written by Pradeep Kumar Singh and published by Evince pub publisher. During release of the book Rabindra Pradhan , Secretary- Shree Nilachal Seva Sangha and Shree Jagannath temple Hauz Khas, Temple Pandit - Sangram Acharya, an eminent writer, Gajendra Prasad Samant - Vice President Shree Nilachal Seva Sangha and Shree Jagganath Mandir Hauz Khas, Lopamudra Pattnaik – HR head, TRB Group-Ludhiana, Ankit Khatua - Senior manager, Senior Journalist L.N.Beborta, Shibasish Pattanaik, Business Head, Alok International Pvt.Ltd and Rakhi Pruthi, GM, CRC- Manav Rachna Educational Institutions, Faridabad were present. During these events and in all of her campaigns Ranjeeta Priyadarshini keeps on highlighting the importance of Paid Period Leave, details to implement it on ground, discussion on achieving equity among all employees, relation of equity with equality.
she also keeps on highlighting how this is different from any form of sick leave and if we are in position to talk, celebrate and even frame a policy on Menstrual Hygiene then defining a leave with nomenclature of Period or Menstrual period leave is also a relevant discussion. She even keeps on meeting and requesting all State /Union Government Ministers /officials across all Indian state to persuade and discuss to frame a legislative reform on implementing paid period leave PPL in coming days.
