Odisha Government presents annual budget of Rs 2.65 lakh crore
Bhubaneswar (25/07/2024): The Odisha Government on Thursday presented the State Budget of Rs 2.65 lakh crore for the financial year 2024-25 in Odisha Assembly. Odisha Chief Minister proposed new scheme 'CM Kisan' for farmers with an outlay of Rs 1935 crore in the State Budget. Samrudha Krushak Yojana has been announced for farmers. An outlay of Rs 5000 crore has been proposed for the scheme. An amount of Rs 10,000 crore has been proposed for the Subhadra Yojana in the budget.
The Yojana was announced in the election manifesto by BJP. Besides, a Corpus fund of Rs 500 crore for Shree Jagannath Temple Administration in Puri has been announced. An amount of Rs 200 crore has been allocated for Odia Asmita. For Mukhya Mantri Kalakara Sahayata Yojana, an amount of Rs 72 crore has been allocated. Similarly, for conservation and protection of monuments, an allocation of Rs 15 crore has been made. The State Budget sets target of creating 25 lakh Lakhpati Didis by 2027.
