Rairangpur declared new Police District in Odisha

Bhubaneswar(By Abhishek Mohanty): The Odisha government has announced the creation of a new police district, Rairangpur, by bifurcating the existing Mayurbhanj police district.

The headquarters of the newly formed Rairangpur Police District will be located at Rairangpur town.

The district will comprise 14 police stations, along with 5 police outposts and 2 beat houses.

The move is aimed at strengthening law enforcement administration and improving policing efficiency in the region.
