TAYLOR SWIFT THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS INDIAN THEATRES
Bhubaneswar(05/11/2023)/By Amrita Dash): Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour concert film arrived in India on 3rd November and the Swifties can't calm down.
To say the support from the fans is a lot is an understatement.
The Taylor Swift fever dream is high right now as for the first time ever, her concert is being screened across cinema halls in India.
The Eras tour which is ongoing and will start it's international leg soon, is set to become the highest grossing tour by an artist.
The tour covers songs from all of her albums and eras including her recent albums Lover, Folklore, Evermore and Midnight's which did not have a concert tour.
The singer recently became a billionaire.
Swifties (Taylor Swift fans) have shared videos screaming, crying, singing along to the lyrics in the halls.
Over 25000 tickets were booked in advance for the opening night and 85000 tickets were booked in advance for the big weekend.
Videos and pictures have surfaced of Swifties dressed up in themes of different Taylor Swift album eras and sharing friendship bracelets with each other in the theatres.
Super hit songs such as Cruel Summer, Lover, Lavender Haze, Blank Space, Bad blood, Love story, Willow, Shake it off, Style, All too well 10 minute version, Delicate, Look what you made me do, Our song, August, Wildest Dreams and Enchanted were just a few to name from of the versatile and hit 40 track set list.
The film clocks at 2 hour 48 minutes and provides the viewers a mind-blowing cinematic experience one could imagine in their wildest dreams.
Reports and videos have shown that more people are swarmed waiting outside the halls showing the Eras Tour film than other films.
The hall staff have reported that the sound of the Swifties singing along with the singer has theatres and malls shaking in unison.
The songs can be heard from other film halls as well.
Certainly, the theatres weren't ready for Indian Swifties and the power that Taylor Swift and her music holds all across the globe.
