Born in 1942 in Digapahandi, a beautiful village nestled in the picturesque state of Odisha, Dr. Pathy was a polymath who graced the world with his multifaceted genius as a painter, author, visualizer, and art historian.
Dr. Pathy’s journey was a vivid decoration , woven with the vibrant hues of his artistic creations and the profound narratives he penned. His canvas was not confined to paint and brush alone; he also masterfully crafted words that danced with the same elegance and depth as his visual art. His contributions to the spheres of art and literature were as rich and diverse as the cultural heritage of Odisha, the land that nurtured his talent.
As the former Secretary of the esteemed Lalit Kala Akademi in both New Delhi and Bhubaneswar, Dr. Pathy played a pivotal role in sculpting the Indian art landscape.
