16 Naxals gunned down by security forces
Chhattisgarh (29/03/2025): A major encounter between security forces and Naxalites occurred in Chhattisgarh's Sukma district, resulting in the deaths of 16 Naxalites and injuring two jawans The exchange of fire began after a joint anti-Naxal operation was launched by the District Reserve Guard (DRG) and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in the forests of Upampalli Kerlapal area. This operation was initiated based on specific intelligence regarding the presence of Naxals in the area.
