Senior IAS officer Sujata Karthikeyan opts for VRS

Bhubaneswar (29/03/2025): Senior IAS officer Sujata Karthikeyan, the wife of BJD leader VK Pandian, has applied for Voluntary Retirement Service (VRS). Fifteen days back, Karthikeyan had submittted her application to the Central Government, which has approved her request.

She has previously served as the Special Secretary in Odisha Finance Department. In November 2024, the Odisha government declined her application for a six-month extension of childcare leave, instructing her to resume duties immediately.
