Snake smuggling bid foiled at Bhubaneswar Airport
Bhubaneswar(29/03/2025): A snake smuggling attempt was foiled at Bhubaneswar airport on Saturday.
Snakes were being smuggled in a biscuit packet on a flight from Bangkok to Chennai via Bhubaneswar.
Nine snakes, including sand boas and non-venomous snakes, have been rescued.
A youth from Chennai has been detained and is being interrogated by the forest department.
