XIM HOSTS ANNUAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP CONCLAVE
Bhubaneswar(17/09/2023): XIM Bhubaneswar conducted the Annual Entrepreneurship Conclave titled as KICKSTART 2023, hosted by X-Seed - The Entrepreneurship Cell of XIM.
This year the theme was "Partage D’Experience." The event was graced with the presence of Aishwarya Jhawar, Founder, Ekatra; Sivasish Bebartta, Managing Director, 9c Technology Labs, My Startup Yatra; and Dr.Manisha Acharya, Project Director, EY Startup Odisha, who shared their valuable insights with the audience. The session commenced with the speakers lighting the lamp, followed by the first speaker of the day, Aishwarya Jhawar, Founder, Ekatra, who shared insights on the journey of an entrepreneur and laid importance on adding value to the lives of women.
Jhawar mentioned, "No matter how many salespeople you get, the founder must know how to sell the product." She further elaborated on the lessons that she learned in her journey and the skills a founder should possess for the business to be successful. The day's second speaker was Sivasish Bebartta, Managing Director, 9c Technology Labs, My Startup Yatra.
He shared his life journey and emphasized the significance of being passionate and choosing the right co-founder.
Bebartta also stated, "If you are someone who will sustain in a crash, you will rise like a phoenix.” He spoke extensively about the various obstacles a founder needs to overcome in order to find success. The final speaker of the conclave was Dr.Manisha Acharya, Project Director, EY Startup Odisha, who sighted that the key to entrepreneurship is self-confidence.
She added, “It may take time, but [9/17, 21:27] Guddu Cell: nothing is impossible, if you are doing something with passion, it will happen.” She emphasized having a strong will and being goal-oriented to succeed as an entrepreneur. After the talk by the eminent speakers was the much-awaited question and answer session where the bright minds of XIM, University asked questions relevant to the start-up world. The summit concluded with an ending note by Prof.Satyendra Nath Mishra, Assistant Professor of Rural Management highlighting the need for a collaborative ecosystem and a vote of thanks from Sabyasachi Panda, the X-Seed coordinator.
