Malkangiri Airport boundary wall collapses

Bhubaneswar (By Abhishek Mohanty): The boundary wall of Malkangiri Airport to collapsed on Monday due to incessant rainfall.

Around 20 feet of the wall has been washed away by rainwater.

Approximately 200 meters of the boundary wall has been damaged. The access road to the airport has also been destroyed by the rainwater.

The boundary wall had also collapsed last year.

Locals have demanded appropriate steps for immediate repair of the boundary wall.

The district administration has declared a one-day holiday for schools and colleges in view of heavy rainfall.
