22 platoons of police force to be deployed in Cuttack for Holi celebrations
Cuttack (14/03/2025): The Commissionerate Police has put in place elaborate security measures to ensure smooth Holi celebrations in Cuttack.
A total of 22 platoons of police force will be deployed across the millenium city to maintain law and order. According to Cuttack DCP Rishikesh Khilari, stern action will be taken against those found playing Holi under the influence of alcohol. All liquor shops in the city will remain closed during the festival.
The citizens have been advised to conclude Holi celebrations between 12 PM and 1 PM.
The people have also been asked to avoid bathing in rivers after playing Holi.
