ADIVASI MELA BEGINS IN BHUBANESWAR
Bhubaneswar (2/01/2024): The much-awaited annual Adivasi Mela began at Adivasi Exhibition Ground, Unit-1, Bhubaneswar on Friday.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated the fair through virtual mode. This year, tribal houses of ten different categories showcased in the tribal trade fair will be the major attraction. A total of 180 stalls have been set up at the Adivasi Exhibition Ground.
Tribals from Sundargarh, Gajapati, Mayurbhanj, Rayagada, Malkangiri, Kandhamal, Nuapada, Koraput and Keonjhar have made their indigenous houses.
The fair showcasing colourful tribal art, craft, cuisines, produces along with stage performances of cultural programmes has always been a crowd-puller in the state capital. The fair will continue till February 5.
