Agricultural Training of Siksha O Anusandhan University at Budhipada Village

Bhubaneswar (27/07/2024): An agricultural training program was held by the fourth year student group B-2 of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, Siksha O Anusandhan University in Budhipada village under Balianta block, Puranpadhan Gram Panchayat, Bhubaneswar suburb.

More than 50 villagers and farmers participated in the programme held at the local Gadibrahma temple. Under the guidance of Dr.Swoyam Singh this training Programme was performed and the students demonstrated and performed a drama on Organic Alternative to Synthetic Urea (Azolla Cultivation and Enriched FYM). In addition Dr.Bhubanananda Adhikari attended as an expert officer.

This agricultural training has benefited the villagers in many ways such as their improvement in their opinion on Organic Agriculture, reduction in over dependency on Synthetic fertilizers, Proper usage of their agricultural field in Cultivation of Azolla, and Agricultural Waste Management etc.
