AIIMS Bhubaneswar resident doctors' strike enters sixth day

Bhubaneswar (17/08/2024): Today marks the sixth day of the ongoing strike of resident doctors of AIIMS Bhubaneswar. Two rallies were organized, both of which were met with overwhelming support from our nursing students and staff.
Their solidarity reinforces the shared commitment across the entire medical community to stand together in pursuit of justice and fair treatment. A crucial General Body Meeting was held today, which included representatives from all departments.
The discussions were intense, reflecting the deep concerns and unwavering resolve of the members of the Resident Doctors' Association of AIIMS Bhubaneswar. The meeting concluded with a unanimous decision to continue our strike with even greater determination. The doctors said, "We will not waver in our resolve until our voices are heard, and our demands are met with the seriousness they deserve.
We urge all members of the medical fraternity, as well as the public, to continue supporting our cause.
This is not just our fight; it’s a fight for the future of healthcare and the respect of those who serve in it." .
