COMMUNIQUÉ 2024 AT XIM UNIVERSITY THROWS LIGHT ON IMPACT OF AI ON DIGITAL LANDSCAPE
Bhubaneswar (10/01/2024): XIM University (New Campus), Odisha in association with IlluminatiX_media & PR Cell, , successfully organized the Communiqué, the Annual Media Conclave on the Theme “AI-MEDIA NEXUS A BITTERSWEET CIRCUMSTANCE” on Wednesday. The event commenced with a welcome address by Prof.Kajri Misra, Dean, School of Human Settlements, Faculty Co-ordinator of IlluminatiX the Media and PR Cell, XIM University.
Dr.V Vijay Kumar, Dean, School of Communications, addressed the audience.
This was followed by an inaugural Fr.S.Antony Raj, S.J., Registrar, XIM University, Bhubaneswar. The panelists explored the intricate workings of AI tools, particularly ChatGPT, and its role in moderating language generated by human trainers, researchers, and engineers.
The conversation extended to the impact of AI on the digital landscape, emphasizing the need for adaptation in the face of rapid developments.
The role of AI in storytelling and content creation was highlighted, focusing on the unique human touch, authenticity, and sense of belonging that remains irreplaceable.
AI has a transformative potential across various industries, as exemplified in AI marketing strategies.
Humans make an irreplaceable contribution to the narration therefore considering the ethical considerations in AI applications and the responsible use of technology is important.
