Congress launches massive protest in Bhubaneswar, Police on high alert

Bhubaneswar(27/03/2025): The Congress party has organized a massive protest in Bhubaneswar today.

Over 25,000 Congress workers and supporters gathered in the city to protest against the suspension of MLAs and atrocities against women. To maintain law and order, five temporary police control rooms have been set up in the city.

Police forces have been deployed at various intersections.

The police have also imposed restrictions on the movement of vehicles between Rajmahal and Rupali Square. Meanwhile, Congress workers were stopped by police on the Cuttack-Jagatsinghpur road.

The workers sat on the road in protest.

The Congress workers from different parts of the state arrived in Bhubaneswar to gherao the State Assembly.
