Counterfeit notes worth Rs 10000 seized in Bhadrak

Bhadrak (By Abhishek Mohanty): Counterfeit notes worth Rs 10000 were seized from a youth at Anand Bazaar in Bhadrak district of Odisha on Sunday

According to information, two youths approached a shop and tried to purchase items using a Rs 200 note.

The shopkeeper noticed something suspicious about the texture and print on the note. He verified the note with the nearby shopkeepers and customers. 
It was found that the note was fake. 

One of the youths were then nabbed by the shopkeeper with the help of locals. Fake notes worth around Rs 10,000 were recovered from him in the denomination of Rs 500 and Rs 100.
Another youth managed to flee.
