Crocodile census begins in Satkosia
Angul(06/01/2025): A three-day crocodile census has begun in Satkosia in Angul district, starting today.
The census will involve 14 teams consisting of 70 personnel.
To facilitate the census, tourists have been barred from visiting Satkosia until January 8.
Additionally, boating and fishing activities have also been prohibited in the Mahanadi River during this period.
