FATHER-SON DUO DIES, MOTHER CRITICAL IN WALL COLLAPSE
Balasore (24/03/2024): A youth and his father died after the wall of a house collapsed on them at Paschimabada under Jaleswar police limits in Balasore district on Monday.
The deceased youth's mother sustained multiple injuries in the mishap. The deceased have been identified as Sheikh Samiruddin and his son Sheikh Arif. Arif and his parents were sitting beside a house along the road when its wall suddenly collapsed and fell down on them. While Arif reportedly died on the spot, his father Samiruddin and mother Asima Biwi were rushed to the nearest hospital for treatment.
Later, Samiruddin succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at the hospital.
His mother, Asima is currently undergoing treatment.
