Former BJD MLA Bijay Mohanty no more
Bhubaneswar (22/12/2024): Former BJD MLA Bijay Mohanty passed away at Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar on Sunday. Bijay Mohanty was found unresponsive at a guest house before being taken to the hospital. The authorities at the hospital declared him brought dead upon arrival. He was elected twice on a BJD ticket, securing victories in the 2009 and 2014 elections. Chief Minister Mohan Majhi and many political leaders have condoled the death of Bijay Mohanty.
