Independence Day Celebration at Kalinga Kids: A Patriotic Commemoration

Bhubaneswar (15/08/2024): Independence Day was celebrated at Kalinga Kids School in Bhubaneswar with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour.

The school campus was beautifully decorated with flags, flowers, and balloons to commemorate the day.

All the students and teachers gathered in the school premises at 10:00 AM.

The national flag was ceremoniously hoisted by the Director of ISD, Subhashree Das, and the Founder of the school, Niharika KM Sahoo, in the presence of all teachers and students. A solemn speech was delivered to pay homage to the brave martyrs of the country.

The young UKG students infused the atmosphere with patriotism through a melodious patriotic poem.

Cultural activities such as dance, fancy dress, songs, and speeches were organized, with prizes awarded to the winners at the end of the program.

Refreshments in the form of snacks and juice were distributed to all attendees, fostering a sense of camaraderie.

The memorable event culminated with a collective rendition of the national anthem, leaving a lasting impression of unity and patriotism.
