Low pressure formation in 24 hours
Bhubaneswar (28/08/2024): A low-pressure system is likely to form over the Bay of Bengal within the next 24 hours, leading to increased rainfall across Odisha.
The India Meteorological Department's Bhubaneswar regional centre has predicted heavy rainfall in several districts, including Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Koraput, Malkangiri, Rayagada, Gajapati, and Ganjam today. Several parts of the state may witness heavy rainfall till August 31.
