Low pressure likely to form over Bay of Bengal around October 4

Bhubaneswar (02/10/2024): A low pressure area is likely to form over North Bay of Bengal around October 4. A circulation lies over southeast Bangladesh and neighbourhood and a trough runs from this circulation in North Andaman Sea across Myanmar coast in lower tropospheric levels. Squally weather with wind speed reaching 35 kmph to 45 kmph gusting to 55 kmph is likely over Northeast and adjoining eastcentral Bay of Bengal during the next three days from October 2 to 4.
