Mayor imposes fines worth lakhs of rupees at Unit-4 area
Bhubaneswar(By Abhishek Mohanty): Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) Mayor Sulochana ,Das imposed fines amounting to lakhs of rupees in the Unit-4 area.
During a raid and cleanliness drive at the Unit-4 fish market and surrounding areas, the mayor imposed penalties.
Various hotels, auto workshops, and educational institutions were fined for dumping garbage improperly.
The Mayor stated that awareness is necessary to ensure that garbage is not thrown outside or on the roads and that public spaces and roads are kept clean.
