Minor boy killed in group clash during Ganesh idol immersion
Athagarh(10/09/2024): A group clash broke out during the immersion of idol of Lord Ganesh at Dharusia village under Khuntuni police station in Cuttack district.
The clash resulted in injuries to five people, with three in critical condition admitted to Cuttack's SCB Medical College and Hospital. An 11-year-old boy, identified as Banti Samal, died while undergoing treatment.
The incident occurred due to a dispute over the immersion procession.
