Navyasopna Competition at RCM celebrates creativity, innovation & sustainable entrepreneurship
Bhubaneswar(26/04/2025): The Navyasopna competition at the Regional College of Management (RCM) concluded with great success, bringing together an inspiring blend of students, corporate professionals, and entrepreneurs from various colleges and organizations.
The event became a vibrant platform to showcase creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit. Participants presented a range of groundbreaking ideas, many rooted in sustainability and scientific application.
One of the key highlights was the innovative use of waste materials from banana trees to develop high-value, eco-friendly products — demonstrating how agricultural by-products can be turned into sustainable solutions.
Another standout project involved the creation of a signature fragrance for the Indian market, crafted organically from flowers.
Use of cow dunk to prepare chip to reduce mobile and computer radiation.
It is unique blend of traditional knowledge and modern eco-conscious innovation. The competition was judged by an esteemed panel of industry leaders, including Pradyumna Choudhary, Deputy General Manager at SIDBI; Manas Mandhata, Vice President of Maithan Steel; and senior advisors Siba Santosh Khuntia MD and CEO of start up universe, Preeti Maria Co founder Mumpreneurs and Jayanti Mahapatra- co founder weneurs forum.
