Notification issued for Rajya Sabha by-election

Bhubaneswar(14/08/2024): The notification for the Rajya Sabha by-election has been issued.

The by-election will be held for one seat in Odisha.

By-elections will be held for 12 seats on 9 states.

The last date for filing nominations is August 22.

The scrutiny of nominations will be held on August 22. August 27 is the last date for withdrawal of candidature.

Voting and counting of votes will take place on September 3.
