Odisha Cabinet's structure set to undergo changes

Bhubaneswar (By Abhishek Mohanty): The structure of Odisha Cabinet is set to undergo changes.

A directive in this regard has been issued by the Department of Parliamentary Affairs.

The major changes include the final date for Cabinet meetings will be decided 5 days in advance. The proposals will be finalized 3 days prior to the meeting.
The Cabinet proposal files will be submitted to Ministers 2 days in advance.

No proposal can be presented in the Cabinet without the Chief Minister's approval.

The Departmental Secretaries will not be able to attend Cabinet meetings without the Chief Minister's permission.

Secretaries will sit in a separate room and only attend the Cabinet meeting when required.
