Odisha CM holds public grievance hearing for first time in Sambalpur

Sambalpur: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Monday held a public hearing in Sambalpur. For the first time, the public hearing of the Chief Minister was conducted outside Bhubaneswar.
The hearing took place at the Sambalpur Municipal Corporation office, where hundreds of people gathered from early morning to voice their grievances.

The CM said, "The state government wants to get closer to the people and ensure that no citizen feels neglected. Our decision to hold public hearing outside Bhubaneswar aims to strengthen grassroots governance."

CM Majhi announced that similar grievance hearings will be organised in other districts in the near future.
For smooth conduct of the public hearing, the Sambalpur Municipal Corporation arranged wheel chairs for differently-abled persons, sign language interpreters for the visually impaired.
Water points, ORS stations and refreshments managed by NGOs were set up at the venue.

Several Ministers and bureaucrats were present on the occasion.
