ODISHA CM INAUGURATES 20 NEWLY CONSTRUCTED BUS STANDS IN 13 DISTRICTS UNDER AMA BUS STAND YOJANA
Bhubaneswar(15/02/2024): Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday inaugurated 20 newly constructed bus stands in 13 districts under the Ama Bus Stand Yojana.
The districts are Angul, Balasore, Boudh, Dhenkanal, Gajapati, Kendrapara, Keonjhar, Koraput, Nayagarh, Nuapada, Rayagada, Subarnapur and Sambalpur. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said, "Communication is the root of development.
Development of communication will go a long way in strengthening economy.
The communication infrastructure and public transport system are being developed under the 5T initiative." The CM highlighted that the government has decided to develop the new bus stands as business hubs.
This will also increase our economic activities. He placed emphasis on safety of public at the new bus stands.
