Odisha CM to unfurl Tricolour at Independence Day celebration in Bhubaneswar
Bhubaneswar (11/08/2024): Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi will unfurl the Tricolour at the state level Independence Day celebration in Bhubaneswar. Deputy Chief Ministers KV Singhdeo and Pravati Parida will hoist the national flag Nuapada and Cuttack, respectively. While Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari will hoist the national flag in Kalahandi, Rural Development Minister Rabi Narayan Naik will unfurl the Tricolour in Sundargarh. School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond will unfurl the national flag in Koraput and Food Supplies Minister Krushna Chandra Patra will be hoisting the national flag in Nabarangpur. Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan will unfurl the Tricolour in Ganjam and Health Minister Dr Mukesh Mahaling will be hoisting the national flag in Bargarh Similarly, Commerce and Transport Minister Bibhuti Bhushan Jena, Housing and Urban Development Minister Dr Krushna Chandra Mahapatra, Forest and Environment Minister Ganesh Ram Singkhuntia, Higher Education Minister Suryabanshi Suraj, Cooperation Minister Pradeep Dhal Samanta, Fisheries and Animal Resources Development Minister Gokulananda Mallik and Industries Minister Sampad Chandra Swain will hoist the national flag in Gajapati, Balasore, Balangir, Malkangiri, Khordha, Kandhamal, Rayagada, respectively The district collectors will hoist the national flag in Puri, Sambalpur, Keonjhar, Angul, Jagatsinghpur, Jharsuguda, Mayurbhanj, Sonepur, Dhenkanal, Berhampur, Rourkela, Bhadrak, Boudh, Deogarh, Jajpur, Kendrapara and Nayagarh. The collectors of the districts concerned will perform the ceremonial flag and take salute on the occasion in case those designated are unable to reach the assigned places due to unavoidable circumstances.
