Bhubaneswar (By Abhishek Mohanty): Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida on Monday launched the "Amari Sishu" web portal under the Women and Child Development Department at the State Women and Child Institution in Bhubaneswar.
The "Amari Sishu" web portal has been launched to track and support the development of children in Odisha.
Anganwadi workers will upload data on children, which will be used to monitor their growth and development.
The portal aims to improve childcare and development by providing a platform for tracking and supporting children's health, nutrition and growth. It will ensure that children receive the care and support they need.
The portal will help identify children who are at risk of malnutrition or other health problems, allowing for early intervention and support.
Through this initiative, major welfare schemes like Mission Vatsalya, Yashoda and Ashirbad Yojana will be integrated, offering centralised access to support systems related to child safety, justice and care.
